Debby Gaudet embarked on her acting career in the early 2000s, ultimately transitioning from in-front-of-the-camera work to behind-the-scenes roles after becoming a member of the prestigious SAG-AFTRA union.
Initially, she was employed by film and television producers to serve as an on-set acting coach, dialogue coach, and child wrangler, before expanding her repertoire to include Casting Associate and Casting Director credits.
In 2008, Debby began teaching TV and film intensives at Celtic Film Studios in Baton Rouge, leveraging her extensive experience in both on-camera and behind-the-scenes roles to establish herself as a respected figure within the industry.
As her reputation grew, Debby taught at Celtic Film Studios for six years, eventually building a comprehensive roster of classes, before establishing her own full-service acting studios in New Orleans and Baton Rouge.
Today, Debby Gaudet's Screen Actors Studio provides talent from across Louisiana and Mississippi with a wide range of services, including television, film, and commercial acting classes, as well as hosting various events such as casting director workshops, seminars, production meetings, castings, table reads, and on-site filming.
Under Debby's guidance, her studio has grown to encompass a pool of over 100 students, many of whom have gone on to secure roles on popular television shows, major motion pictures, indie projects, and commercials.
