Biography

After a storied thirty-year career in the music industry, spanning roles as a producer, publisher, and independent record company owner, Dean decided it was time to pivot and explore new creative avenues. Heeding his artistic inclinations, Dean penned a baseball-themed novel, Pinch Hitter, which debuted in 2008, before transitioning to screenwriting.

In the autumn of 2011, Dean made the bold decision to venture into indie filmmaking, initially conceiving his debut effort as a writer, producer, and director: a short horror film titled "The Body Bag", which he completed in June 2012.

Following the successful completion of "The Body Bag", Dean, along with his actress wife Judy, co-founded their own production company, Undaunted Films, with the ambitious goal of producing one film per year. Their inaugural project was the supernatural thriller "Ghostline", which was shot during the spring and summer of 2013 and is slated for a 2014 release.

Undaunted Films' next project is a full-length feature adaptation of their award-winning short film, "The Body Bag", rebranded as "Curse of the Bokor".
