Biography

Born in Yorkshire, Dean Jagger pursued a comprehensive education in drama and theatre at The Actors Centre in London, laying the foundation for a successful career in the entertainment industry.

In 2016, Jagger made a notable television debut, taking on the iconic role of Smalljon Umber in HBO's critically acclaimed series Game of Thrones, earning widespread recognition and praise from critics.

The following year, Jagger secured a starring role in Cinemax's ambitious period action drama "Warrior," created and executive produced by Jonathan Tropper and Justin Lin. He portrayed Dylan Leary, an Irish ex-bare-knuckle boxing champion and the head of the unofficial labor movement in San Francisco. The show premiered to widespread critical acclaim in the summer of 2019 and has been renewed for a second season.

Dean Jagger also ventured into the realm of film, starring in the Netflix movie "Rim of the World," directed by McG. The film tells the story of four misfit teenagers who form an unlikely alliance when their summer camp experience is abruptly disrupted by an alien invasion. Jagger played the role of Captain Hawking, a marine commander fighting against the extraterrestrial invaders in Los Angeles.

Outside of acting, Jagger and his brother Ben Jagger have established their own production company, Jagger Brothers INC, with the goal of developing features and series that tackle a diverse range of social issues.
