From a very young age, I didn't particularly enjoy engaging in conversations, a trait that would eventually develop into a profound appreciation for independence and self-expressive creative pursuits. As I navigated the formative years of high school, the social limitations imposed by my ADHD medication regimen led to a sense of emotional emptiness, prompting me to seek out alternative avenues for self-expression and connection. It was during this time that I discovered a passion for cameras and the art of music video direction, which I initially explored as an English class project prior to my senior year.
This creative outlet not only helped me to form meaningful relationships with my peers but also provided a therapeutic means of channeling my energy and overcoming my reliance on medication. As I transitioned into the realm of higher education, I pursued a formal study of film and television production, with a particular focus on the intricacies of post-production.
During this time, I was able to cultivate my skills in camera operation, lighting design, and editing software. I was also exposed to various film and television production techniques, which allowed me to refine my understanding of the creative process and develop a keen eye for detail.
Through my studies, I was able to create a number of short films and music videos that showcased my skills and creativity. I was also given the opportunity to work on several group projects, which allowed me to collaborate with my peers and develop important teamwork and communication skills.
