David Walton, a talented individual, was born in Boston, Massachusetts, with a rich family background. His father, John Hunter Walton Jr, and mother, Carolyn K Walton, have been instrumental in shaping his life. David has a total of six siblings, comprising four sisters - Francie Karlen, Jennifer Burke, Hilary Lehman, and Amanda Walton - and two brothers, Will Hovey and Burr Hovey.
David's early fascination with acting dates back to his 9th grade production of "The Taming of the Shrew," where he played the role of Petruchio. Throughout his high school years at St. Paul's School in Concord, New Hampshire, and later at Brown University, he continued to hone his acting skills by participating in numerous productions. In 2001, he made the bold decision to relocate to New York City to pursue a professional acting career and further his studies at The Actor's Center.
In 2003, David landed a role in a Naked Angel's production of "One Day on Wall Street," which led to a pivotal meeting with Marcia Shulman, Executive Vice President of FOX. Following this encounter, she cast him in his first television series, "Cracking Up" (2004),alongside Molly Shannon and Jason Schwartzman. This marked the beginning of his successful television career, and he eventually relocated to Los Angeles to film the series, deciding to stay in the city ever since.
