David Sparrow, a renowned Canadian actor, was born on March 4, 1962, in Solihull, Warwickshire, UK. He began his professional career in 1989 as a member of the Second City National Touring Company in Toronto, Ontario, Canada.

Soon after, he formed his own comedy troupe, The Random Few, which toured extensively across Canada and appeared on television and radio. Throughout his illustrious career, David has had the privilege of working alongside numerous talented actors, directors, and production teams in over a hundred film, television, and stage productions across Canada and the United States.

In 2001, he co-wrote, co-directed, and performed in the critically acclaimed comedy hit, The Honey Murders, at the Sacred Fools Theatre in Los Angeles. His impressive writing credits include short films, feature films, television pilots, hours of sketch comedy, a children's book, a play, short stories, and dozens of radio and television commercials.

As a seasoned director, David has worked on stage productions, voice-overs, and his own short films. He is a proud member of SAG/AFTRA, the Canadian Actor's Equity Association (CAEA),and the Alliance of Canadian Cinema, Television and Radio Artists (ACTRA). During his tenure as the Toronto and National President of ACTRA from 2013-2021, he played a vital role in the organization.
