David Sakurai is a multifaceted individual born in Copenhagen, Denmark, with a unique Eurasian heritage that has enabled him to traverse the globe, seamlessly transitioning between Europe, Asia, and the United States.

His professional journey began with a critically acclaimed performance in Károly Ujj Mészáros' "Liza, The Fox-Fairy," where he portrayed Tomy Tani, captivating audiences across Europe and Asia.

In the United States, Sakurai made a notable appearance as Scythe in Marvel Studio's "Iron Fist" series, followed by significant roles in "Unbroken: Path to Redemption" as Mutsuhiro 'The Bird' Watanabe, and "Acts of Vengeance" alongside Antonio Banderas.
