Biography

Cass's early career in the film industry began with a humble start as an extra, gradually transitioning between acting roles and stunt work. As time went on, his skills in stunt work eventually took center stage, propelling him to become one of the top stunt coordinators and Second Unit Directors in Hollywood. This impressive milestone led to his producing several films, ultimately paving the way for his debut as a first-unit director.

Meanwhile, Dave has made a significant impact in the film industry through his collaborative efforts. Notably, he co-produced Miramax Films' Texas Rangers (2001),a thrilling western drama. Additionally, he co-wrote and directed several films, including Enter the Devil (1972) and Hard Ground (2003). Dave's impressive resume also boasts a range of television projects, such as the TNT network's Hard Time (1998),which he co-produced and wrote one episode of. Furthermore, he directed an episode of the same series, titled Hard Time: The Premonition (1999).

Dave's directorial skills were showcased in the Hallmark Channel's mini-series, Johnson County War (2002),a gripping adaptation of Larry McMurtry's novel. He also directed two Gentle Ben TV movies, as well as Night of the Wolf (2002),a thrilling drama starring Anne Archer and Robert Urich for Animal Planet.
