David Rodriguez, the youngest of four siblings, was born in the vibrant city of New York, to Millie and J.B. "David" Rodriguez. Growing up in the South Bronx and Long Island, he developed a unique perspective on life, shaped by his surroundings. In contrast to his peers, David's formative years were spent at the prestigious New York Military Academy in Cornwall-on-Hudson, NY, where he honed his discipline and leadership skills.
Following his graduation from N.Y.M.A., David continued to follow in his family's footsteps by enlisting in the United States Marine Corps, upholding a proud tradition of military service. After his time in the Marines, David transitioned to a career in corrections and law enforcement in South Florida, working as an officer.
However, in 2003, David made the bold decision to pivot and pursue his lifelong passion for filmmaking, taking the leap into the entertainment industry. Since 2004, he has worked tirelessly as a director, producer, and writer in film and television, showcasing his versatility and dedication to his craft.
Today, David splits his time between Los Angeles, CA and Austin, TX, and is a respected member of the Director's Guild of America.
