As a member of the esteemed Nelson family, David's professional endeavors were shaped by his involvement in the film industry. He co-founded The Nelson Co., a production company that allowed him to tap into his creative potential as a producer and director. One of his most notable directorial credits was his work on the popular television show, The Adventures of Ozzie and Harriet, which premiered in 1952.
