Biography

David Naughton's illustrious career began with his professional debut in the esteemed New York Shakespeare Festival's production of "Hamlet" in Lincoln Center, where he shared the stage with the talented Sam Waterston.

This accomplished actor's impressive resume includes a stint as the lead singer/dancer in the iconic "Be a Pepper" advertising campaign for Dr. Pepper, a campaign that has become a memorable part of pop culture history.

Naughton's impressive filmography boasts a starring role in John Landis' classic horror film, An American Werewolf in London (1981),which earned Rick Baker his first Academy Award. His extensive film credits also include Michael J. Fox's film debut, Midnight Madness (1980),as well as the ski comedy, Hot Dog... The Movie (1984).

In addition to his impressive film work, Naughton has also had a successful television career. He played a lead role opposite Pam Dawber and the late Rebecca Schaeffer in the CBS sitcom, My Sister Sam (1986).

Naughton's music career is also noteworthy, as he recorded the hit disco single "Makin It" and starred in the ABC sitcom of the same name, Makin' It (1979).
