Biography

David Leon, a multifaceted individual, hails from Newcastle-upon-Tyne, a city steeped in history and culture. At the tender age of eighteen, he left the confines of academia to pursue a career in the performing arts. This bold move allowed him to successfully audition for the prestigious National Youth Theatre, an opportunity that further fueled his passion for the craft.

However, fate had other plans, as he was offered a role in Oliver Stone's epic film, 'Alexander'. This chance encounter marked the beginning of his journey as a professional actor, and he soon found himself establishing a strong presence in British television with his portrayal of a complex character in the Bafta-nominated drama, 'Cutting It'.

Leon's versatility as an actor was further showcased in his role as Billy the Kid in a BBC film that delved into the fascinating life of the Wild West legend. His talent did not go unnoticed, as he was soon cast in the lead role of renowned photographer Rankin's debut feature, 'The Lives of the Saints', a script penned by the accomplished Toni Grisoni.

Additionally, Leon appeared in Guy Ritchie's Empire award-winning film, 'Rock'n'Rolla', where he brought to life the character of Malcolm, a Scottish junkie. Initially written for the illustrious Brad Pitt, Leon's portrayal of this complex character earned him widespread recognition and cemented his status as one of the UK's most promising young talents.
