David Grieco was born in Rome, Italy in 1951. At the tender age of sixteen, he was handpicked by renowned director Franco Zeffirelli for a role in the iconic film "Romeo and Juliet". This was not his only early success, as he also caught the attention of other esteemed directors such as Pier Paolo Pasolini, Bernardo Bertolucci, and many others.
