David Gibson embarked on his professional stage journey at the tender age of eighteen, making his debut with the esteemed New Jersey Shakespeare Festival, taking on the captivating role of Jim Hawkins in the timeless classic, Treasure Island.
Following his stage debut, Gibson went on to graduate from Boston University's prestigious conservatory theater program, relocating to the bustling metropolis of New York City, where he began to make a name for himself in the world of television and radio commercials.
Throughout the subsequent years, from 1977 to approximately 2010, Gibson found himself employed as a national spokesman and voiceover announcer, proclaiming the supposed "miracles" of an extensive array of products, including Alphabits and Wonderbra's, in hundreds of television and radio advertisements.
In addition to his work in commercials, Gibson also lent his voice to various programs on the esteemed television networks of ABC, CBS, NBC, PBS, HBO, and SHOWTIME.
After dedicating several years to his voiceover career, raising two children, and sending them off to college, Gibson began to shift his focus towards film and television, ultimately appearing in over sixty films and episodic TV programs in the last several years.
