David Gaynes is a renowned American documentary filmmaker, celebrated for his outstanding work in the industry, with a total of three critically-acclaimed feature-length documentaries currently in distribution.

His impressive filmography includes the independent features Next Year Jerusalem, released in 2014, Saving Hubble, which premiered in 2012, and Keeper of the Kohn, which debuted in 2005.

Notably, Gaynes was one of only 40 esteemed filmmakers worldwide to contribute a scene to the highly acclaimed ensemble documentary Sacred, directed by the Academy Award-winning director Thomas Lennon, and broadcast on PBS in December 2018.
