Biography

David has garnered numerous accolades and had his numerous short films showcased in prestigious film festivals, including Heebie Jeebies, which was personally selected by acclaimed director Oren Peli to feature on the Paranormal Activity DVD and Blu-ray. In 1997, David successfully completed his inaugural feature film, the horror thriller Dead Wood, which went on to become a profitable low-budget venture, distributed to various territories and later acquired by Lionsgate for a US release.

Following this achievement, David created the drama feature Victims, which premiered at prominent festivals such as Fantasia and Raindance, earning prestigious awards for Best Screenplay and Best Feature. David's subsequent feature was the comedy film Drunk on Love, and he has since completed the psychological chiller Splinter, which won the coveted Best Director award at the Unrestricted View Film Festival, as well as the sci-fi drama short film Between Worlds.

As a screenwriter, David has made significant progress, advancing to the Quarter Finals of the Screencraft Horror competition, the Semi Finals of Killer Shorts, and securing a spot in the Top 6% of the Academy Nicholl Fellowship. Additionally, David was honored as a Finalist in the Screencraft Action & Adventure competition in 2020. As David continues to develop his projects, his future endeavors are eagerly anticipated by fans and industry professionals alike.
