Biography

David, a native of Middletown, Connecticut, began his career in the entertainment industry at an early age, making his television debut with a magic performance for the renowned comedy duo "Bob and Ray" on a PBS special. During his high school years, he was an early member of the central Connecticut chapter of the National Organization for Women and worked closely with Yale Law student Bill Clinton on the U.S. Senate campaign of Joseph Duffy. After graduating from Wesleyan University with majors in both Theatre and Government, David relocated to New York, where he gained widespread recognition through his appearances in over 180 commercials as "Books Dalton," the spokesperson for the B. Dalton Bookstore chain.

Now a Los Angeles resident, David has had recurring roles on several notable television shows, including "True Blood" and "Silicon Valley," among others. In addition to his acting pursuits, he is a skilled musician, serving as the pianist for the "Black Orchid Trio" and lead guitarist for the all-actor rock band "Brando's Pants." David has also been an active member of Hollywood's Theatre of NOTE ensemble for over 30 years.

Beyond his work in the entertainment industry, David is a dedicated vocal coach, having helped singers develop their craft since the 1980s.
