Dave Snyder recently concluded his tenure as Senior Vice President of Documentaries & Current Programming at World of Wonder, a renowned production company behind a diverse range of documentary films and series, including the Emmy-winning HBO documentary Mapplethorpe: Look at the Pictures, The Eyes of Tammy Faye, and Catch and Kill: The Podcast Tapes with Ronan Farrow, as well as popular reality TV franchises such as RuPaul's Drag Race and Million Dollar Listing.
Prior to his role at World of Wonder, Snyder served as Executive Producer of Development at RadicalMedia, where he collaborated with Oscar-nominated and Emmy-winning filmmaker Joe Berlinger to develop documentary films and TV series, including two number one shows for Netflix, Jeffrey Epstein: Filthy Rich and Crime Scene: The Vanishing at the Cecil Hotel, as well as five top-ten hits for Netflix, including Conversations with a Killer: The John Wayne Gacy Tapes and The Jeffrey Dahmer Tapes, Murder Among the Mormons, Crime Scene: The Times Square Killer, and Ghislaine Maxwell: Filthy Rich.
Snyder has also worked as VP of Development & Production at Academy Award-winning filmmaker Alex Gibney's Jigsaw Productions, where he co-created and produced the pilot for the series-winning The New Yorker Presents for Amazon, featuring Andrew Garfield, Alan Cumming, and Brett Gelman, with content from directors Jonathan Demme and Troy Miller. Additionally, he co-created and oversaw CNN's Death Row Stories, co-executive produced by Robert Redford & Laura Michalchyshyn and narrated by Susan Sarandon, and developed Cooked for Netflix, featuring author Michael Pollan, and The Killing Season for A&E.
Throughout his career, Snyder has demonstrated his versatility by tackling a wide range of genres, including comedy, reality TV, and narrative films, as a showrunner, director, or producer of programs such as Explorer for National Geographic, World of Jenks for MTV, and Queer Eye for the Straight Guy for Bravo.
