Darcy's early life was marked by a connection to the natural beauty of New Hampshire's Lakes Region, where she spent her formative years. Her educational pursuits took her to Connecticut, where she enrolled at Westminster School, a prestigious boarding school that provided her with her first taste of acting through its esteemed theatre program. During her time at Westminster, she was an integral part of an Improv troupe called The Players, and she made her debut on the stage in Wendy Wasserstein's one-act play, Boy Meets Girl.
Darcy's passion for acting only grew stronger as she continued her training at Colgate University, where she was featured in a range of productions, including Harvey, The Importance Of Being Ernest, and The Lady's Not For Burning. Her studies took her to London, where she attended the British American Drama Academy and appeared in a renowned production of The House Of Bernarda Alba, further honing her craft.
Upon relocating to Los Angeles, Darcy's impressive resume continued to grow, as she appeared in numerous films and television shows, including Stephen King's Night Surf, CSI, Unsolved Mysteries, Scare Tactics, and Madison Heights. Her stage credits include starring roles in the hit productions of Paul Rudnick's The Most Fabulous Story Ever Told and Arthur Schnitzler's La Ronde at the Elephant Theatre. Most recently, she brought to life the mentally challenged Cheryl Goodman in Art Brown's hit show, Minding Goodman, at the Edgemar Center for the Arts in Santa Monica.
Darcy's impressive list of credits continues to grow, as she has recently shot a co-starring role in the new film, Behind The Smile, written and directed by Damon Wayans and starring Marlon Wayans, Jim Belushi, and Camryn Manheim. She has also just completed filming the indie film Dark Heart, directed by Kevin Lewis.
