Mr. Appaji Ambarisha, a multifaceted individual, was born in the charming town of Samalkot, East Godavari district, Andhra Pradesh, in 1965. His parents, Mr. Ramsha Darbha and Mrs. Siriesha Darbha, were both amateur actors and the founders of the renowned magazine, 'Abhisarika'. With a keen interest in creative pursuits, Appaji Ambarisha embarked on a career in advertising and digital media at a young age. He spent nearly three and a half decades working on innovative technologies in printing and publishing, conceptualizing designs and Unicode fonts compatible with contemporary software, particularly in Telugu and Kannada for Google.
As a graphic designer of exceptional skill, he worked with prominent advertising firms in Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, and Karnataka. After a fulfilling career, he turned to his long-standing passion for acting, making his debut in 2011 as the protagonist's father in a commercial for 'Priya Foods-Snack Magic'. His wife, Dr. Sudharani Miriyala, son DSV Ramsha, and daughter-in-law Krishna Manjusha have been his constant source of support throughout his acting career.
Appaji Ambarisha's acting career progressed naturally towards short films, with his debut in the popular 'Apparao Gari Abbayi' as the lead character Apparao. He has since appeared in well-received films and short films such as 'AaNishi Lo' and 'Apparao Gari Pichi'. His latest short film, 'Krishnamurthy Garintlo', won numerous accolades and awards, earning him widespread appreciation from audiences and critics alike. In 2023, he acted in the film 'O Saathiya'.
