Danuta Stenka is a renowned Polish actress who initially took to the stage in 1984, marking the beginning of her illustrious career at the Contemporary Theatre in Szczecin. This marked the starting point of her journey as a thespian, and she would later go on to hone her craft at the New Theatre in Poznan and various esteemed Warsaw theaters, including the Dramatic, Variety, and National Theatre.

Her foray into the world of film commenced with her significant role as Elzbieta in the 1991 TV movie Rozmowy o milosci, a performance that would serve as a precursor to her future on-screen endeavors. Over the years, she has become synonymous with memorable roles in films such as Chopin: Desire for Love (2002),Nigdy w zyciu! (2003),and Katyn (2007),solidifying her status as a talented and versatile actress.

In recognition of her outstanding talent, Danuta Stenka was awarded the Grand Prix at the 61st Kalisz Theatre Meetings - Actor's Art Festival (2021) for her captivating portrayal of Charlotte in the play "Autumn Sonata" by Ingmar Bergman, which was staged at the National Theatre.
