Born in the bustling borough of Brooklyn, New York, in the year 1958, a young Danny embarked on a journey that would take him to the sun-kissed streets of Southern California, a move that would shape the trajectory of his life. It was in 1961, at the tender age of three, that Danny's family made the trek west, a decision that would ultimately lead him to discover his passion for the martial arts.
As he entered his pre-teen years, Danny's fascination with martial arts only grew stronger, and at the age of 12, he began his training in earnest. His dedication and natural aptitude soon earned him a reputation as a formidable competitor, and by the time he reached the age of 14, he had already started training in the sweet science of boxing.
Danny's prowess in the ring was undeniable, and he went on to win every major tournament he entered, a feat that only served to fuel his ambition. By the age of 16, he had already turned pro, and his impressive record soon earned him recognition as one of the best kickboxers of his era.
As his kickboxing career drew to a close, Danny turned his attention to the world of boxing, a decision that would prove to be a wise one. He quickly made a name for himself in the ring, earning the #14 ranked spot with the IBF after knocking out Tony Serta Jr., the #8 ranked junior middleweight, in the second round.
When he finally hung up his boxing gloves, Danny turned his attention to the film industry, a move that would prove to be a successful one. He began his career as a stuntman, working his way up the ranks to become a stunt coordinator, second unit director, film editor, and director of photography.
As an editor, Danny won the prestigious Blastoff film festival and was nominated for the L.A. Cenefest. As a director of photography, he was involved in the TV series "The Camacho Experience," which was nominated for an Emmy. He has also directed the feature film "When Death Comes Knocking," a project that he wrote, directed, produced, and edited himself.
