When not engaged in his professional pursuits, Danny can be found indulging in his passion for Nepali folk music, with a particular fondness for the soulful sounds of the Nepali flute. In recent years, he has become increasingly selective in the roles he takes on, opting for projects that resonate with him on a deeper level.
As an individual who values his personal freedom, Danny has established a unique work schedule, which allows him to take a break from his acting career during the hotter months of March, April, and May. He is meticulous in his approach, choosing projects that align with his artistic vision and allowing him to work on his own terms.
Danny is a devoted father to two children, Rinzing and Pema, and is deeply proud of his family. Interestingly, his brother owns a brewery and beer factory in Melli, Sikkim, which adds a touch of entrepreneurial flair to their family dynamics.
