Danish Aslam kicked off his directorial career with the 2010 film Break Ke Baad, a romantic comedy-drama starring the talented Deepika Padukone and Imran Khan.
He then took a hiatus, during which he made a significant impact in the world of television and digital content. He directed and co-wrote several acclaimed web series, including Flesh for Eros Now, which starred Swara Bhasker and Akshay Oberoi.
He also directed two seasons of It's Not That Simple for Voot, another web series featuring Swara Bhasker, as well as The Reunion for Zoom Studios, which starred Veer Rajwant Singh, Kashmira Irani, and KK Raina. Additionally, he directed Timeout for Voot, featuring Tahir Raj Bhasin and Sarah Jane Dias.
Moreover, he directed the episode "She Loves Me, She Loves Me Not" in the Netflix anthology Feels Like Ishq, starring Saba Azad.
Danish's television credits include shows like Siyaasat for Epic, Kabhi Aise Geet Gaya Karo for Disney, Yeh Hai Aashiqui and Love By Chance for Bindaas, where he brought a distinct voice to youth-centric and historical narratives alike.
Before making his directorial debut, Danish honed his craft as an assistant director on a range of notable films, including Fanaa, Ta Ra Rum Pum, Thoda Pyaar Thoda Magic, Being Cyrus, Salaam Namaste, Lakshya, and Swades.
His latest feature, Khwaabon Ka Jhamela, produced by Jio Studios and starring Prateik Babbar, Sayani Gupta, and Kubbra Sait, released in 2024.
