Daniel Spink is an accomplished American film and television actor, whose acting career began with his involvement in school productions and community theater. Born in Philadelphia, PA, he was raised by his parents, Marsh Spink, a Philadelphia Realtor, and Helyn Spink, a retired elementary school teacher, in the nearby suburbs of Abington, PA.
Growing up, Daniel was an accomplished athlete, lettering in soccer, lacrosse, and swimming at The William Penn Charter School, where he was ranked as the top goalie in the Inter-Academic League of Philadelphia his senior year. His passion for acting was ignited during his high school years, with his first lead role coming in the 10th grade in a play written by his schoolmate Adam Goldberg, creator of the popular television show The Goldbergs.
Daniel went on to earn his bachelor of arts and bachelor of science degrees at Bucknell University in Lewisburg, Pennsylvania, graduating in 2000. It was during his time at Bucknell that he truly discovered his passion for acting, starring in various university productions, including "The Ferriswheel", "Snakebit", "Spittin' Image", "Private Wars", and "The Real Inspector Hound".
During his college summers, Daniel spent time in Los Angeles, CA, interning with casting directors Sheila Jaffe and Mary Vernieu to gain insight into the casting process behind the camera. His professional acting career began with his role as "Guy With Monkey" in the hit comedy American Pie (1999),a role he reprised throughout the American Pie franchise.
Daniel has since appeared in numerous successful television shows, including a stint on ER (1994) as psychopath Tyler Pollard, and in big-budget studio films, such as The Butterfly Effect (2004) and Before We Go (2015),starring alongside his close friend Chris Evans. He has also created a number of viral comedy videos, including Don't Hassel The Hoff (video 2009) and The Carlton Dance (video 2012).
Daniel is the brother of two older brothers, Brian Spink (II),a successful manager of writers and directors at Realm Lit, and J.C. Spink, a producer behind hits such as The Hangover (2009) and We're The Millers (2014). In his personal life, Daniel married his longtime love, Holly, in 2016, and is currently living a real-life romantic comedy. His hobbies include surfing, golf, riding vintage motorcycles, horseback riding, snowboarding, lifting weights, and traveling.
