Daniel Snyder has dedicated the last fifteen years to crafting, overseeing, and guiding documentaries and non-fiction television series for a multitude of prominent broadcasting entities.
As a seasoned show runner, Daniel has been responsible for overseeing the development and production of five multi-part non-fiction cable series, amassing a substantial portfolio of over fifty hours of programming, including the highly acclaimed television hits Swamp People, Bering Sea Gold, and Ancient Aliens, for the Discovery Channel, History Channel, CNN, AMC, IFC, Lifetime, VH1, and numerous other networks.
Prior to venturing into the realm of documentary filmmaking, Daniel held the position of news magazine producer for CNN's esteemed weekly program, NewsStand, garnering numerous accolades for his work. He also co-produced CNN's hour-long Millennium Special, which capped the network's comprehensive end-of-century coverage. Notably, before his tenure at CNN, Daniel served as Los Angeles Correspondent for public radio's international business program, Marketplace, where he garnered several prestigious journalism awards.
Daniel's fascination with storytelling began at a young age. During his high school years, he secured a position at Video Archives, the iconic video store in Manhattan Beach, California, which employed future filmmakers Quentin Tarantino and Roger Avary, among others. The video clerks spent countless hours watching and discussing films, as well as strategizing about how to make their mark on the industry they were passionate about.
