Daniel I. Schachter, a talented filmmaker hailing from Montreal, Canada, has made a significant impact in the industry with his innovative and captivating work.

In 2008, Schachter penned his first short film, Three Mothers, which went on to win the Grand Prix at Cours écrire ton court, a prestigious event hosted by the Festival du Nouveau Cinema. The film's success was far-reaching, playing dozens of festivals worldwide and garnering numerous accolades, including the A&E Short Filmmakers Award, Best Short at Les Rendez-vous du cinéma québécois, and an honourable mention in Trouville, France.

Schachter's subsequent work, Entre Chien et Loup, which he wrote and directed in 2012, starred the talented Monia Chokri. The film made its way to numerous international festivals, including Rhode Island and Palm Springs, solidifying Schachter's reputation as a skilled and dedicated filmmaker.

In 2020, Schachter's debut feature film, Pink Lake, co-created with Emily Gan, premiered at the Vancouver International Film Festival, further cementing his position in the industry.
