Daniel was born and raised in a large, culturally rich Hispanic family in the Worth Heights district of Fort Worth, Texas, in the year 1967. This upbringing has had a profound influence on his life and career, fostering a deep-seated love for the world of film, entertainment, and performance. After many years of honing his skills as a magician and comedian, Daniel made the bold decision to pursue his lifelong dream of working in the film industry.
His professional journey in acting began with a Public Service Announcement (PSA) for the West Nile Virus, following which he landed extra work on the popular television series "Prison Break". Daniel then took his acting skills to the next level by studying under the esteemed Dennis O'Neil and working alongside talented actors such as Terry Kiser on the TV Pilot "Bail Out".
Daniel's creative endeavors extend beyond acting, as he is also a skilled writer and director. His passion project, "Sherlock Hernandez: The Cortez Affaire", which he co-directed and wrote, stars notable actors Hank Sinatra, Dana Brumley, and Robert Seals. This film was an official selection at the prestigious Glen Rose Neo Relic Film Festival in 2010.
Daniel continues to be an active and influential figure in the DFW film community, producing films in the area, including the award-winning short film "Sorry I Missed You", written and directed by Bill Hass.
