Daniel Ray's life journey began in Los Angeles, California, but the majority of his upbringing took place in Las Vegas, Nevada. This dichotomy would later influence his creative endeavors. In 2006, Daniel enrolled at the College of Southern Nevada, where he laid the groundwork for his future as a freelance filmmaker. His early projects included documentaries, commercials, music videos, and eventually, feature films. Daniel's impressive portfolio boasts his work as editor and visual effects artist on the film "Road to Hell" (2012). Additionally, he made his debut as a writer-director with "Heidi" (2014),a found-footage horror film that garnered widespread acclaim. This cinematic masterpiece won an impressive seven awards at the PollyGrind Underground Film Festival, including Best Nevada Film, Best Editing, and an Audience Choice Award. Furthermore, "Heidi" received an official selection at the South Texas Underground Film Festival, solidifying Daniel's reputation as a talented filmmaker.
