Daniel O'Shea, also known as Danny, had a fascinating childhood in Long Island City, New York. His interest in acting began to flourish during his time at Queensboro Community College, where he had the opportunity to star in several plays, including "The Tiger" by Murray Schisgal, "The Merchant" by Plautus, "Lovers and Other Strangers" by Renee Taylor and Joe Bologna, "The Brute" by Chekhov, and "The Doctor In Spite of Himself" by Moliere.
After leaving college, Danny worked odd jobs, seemingly putting his acting aspirations on the backburner. However, the acting bug bit him again in 1984, and he began to appear in Off Off Broadway theater while studying acting with the renowned Herbert Berghof, who sadly passed away.
In 1985, Danny's big break came when he landed the title role in the feature film "Flight of the Spruce Goose," alongside Karen Black, Betsy Blair, Dennis Christopher, and Jennifer Runyon. This marked the beginning of his journey in film and television, although he would later walk away from acting in the early 1990s.
Despite his departure from the acting world, Danny has since returned to the stage in New York City, and is now looking forward to embracing new opportunities as they arise.
