Daniel Gerroll, a talented individual, was born in the vibrant city of London, where he would later return to hone his craft. His educational journey took him to Switzerland, Scotland, and back to London, where he studied Law and Philosophy at Nottingham University.
After completing his studies, Gerroll trained at the prestigious Central School of Speech and Drama in London, laying the foundation for a successful career in the performing arts. He spent several years in British theatre, eventually making his way to the West End in 1976 with a role in "Once a Catholic".
Gerroll's breakthrough performance came in 1981, when he played a major role in the iconic film "Chariots of Fire". This role propelled him to international recognition, and he soon found himself in New York, where he received a Theatre World Award and an Outer Critic Circle Award for his early work.
In 1987, Gerroll made the move to Hollywood, appearing in the 1988 film "Big Business". He spent several years working in both TV and film, playing a wide range of roles. However, his true passion remained the theatre, and in 1999, he returned to New York to indulge in his first love.
