Notably, his feature film "The Darkness" was selected for several co-production forums, including the prestigious L'Atelier within the renowned Cannes Festival in 2014. This recognition serves as a testament to his talent and dedication to his craft.
In addition to his work in the film industry, Daniel Castro Zimbrón has also been sharing his expertise with aspiring filmmakers since 2010. He has been teaching courses at the Centro de Capacitación Cinematográfica in Mexico City, helping to shape the next generation of Mexican filmmakers.
