Damian's journey in film school at Loyola Marymount University in Los Angeles was a pivotal moment in his life, as it led to his membership in the world-renowned Magic Castle. This esteemed organization allowed him to cultivate lasting relationships with the most skilled sleight of hand artists globally, and as a result, he has emerged as one of the most accomplished exponents of the art. To this day, Damian continues to perform at The Magic Castle and has even created an instructional DVD, 'Fast Company', which delves into the techniques and art of card cheating for magicians and card enthusiasts.
As a lifelong student of sleight of hand, Damian found himself in a unique position to create a film that explores the clandestine world of con men, grifters, poker hustlers, and magic. When he penned his first screenplay, he seamlessly merged his passions to write and eventually direct the feature film Shade, which boasts an all-star cast including Sylvester Stallone, Jamie Foxx, Thandiwe Newton, Gabriel Byrne, Melanie Griffith, and Hal Holbrook.
In addition to his work in film, Damian also created and produced the Court TV reality show The Takedown, where a team of con artists orchestrate real-life scams and cons on unsuspecting individuals and casinos.
