Biography

Curt Clendenin's early life unfolded in Carol Stream, Illinois, where he developed a strong foundation for his future endeavors. His academic prowess was evident from a young age, as he won a 3rd place trophy in the 6th grade spelling bee.

Clendenin's creative inclinations soon took center stage, as he landed a role in the iconic film "The Blues Brothers". In this capacity, he had the unique opportunity to be mentored by the incomparable John Belushi, who taught him the art of creating beartracks on the beach of Lake Wauconda.

As a founding member of several sketch comedy and improv groups, including "Sketches", "The Fresh Leftovers", and "Medium Rare", Clendenin honed his skills and developed a distinctive style. His academic pursuits led him to graduate from Columbia College, Chicago, where he was directed by the renowned Sheldon Patinkin of Second City.

Clendenin's professional affiliations continued to grow, as he co-founded the organization "Andy's Army" with Bob Pagani. This collective of friends, family, podcasters, wrestling bloggers, tweeters, and TV hosts played a crucial role in inducting Andy Kaufman into the WWE Hall of Fame.

In addition to his various creative pursuits, Clendenin is also a talented musician, often performing under the moniker "Stoney Shores" in the Yacht Rock band Yachtley Crew. Furthermore, his audio collage show, "Inspirado Projecto", airs on KCHUNG 1630AM radio dials in Chinatown, Los Angeles, on the 1st and 3rd Mondays of each month.

Clendenin's entrepreneurial spirit also led him to co-found the annual KaPow Intergalactic Film Festival, a celebration of innovative storytelling and artistic expression.
