As a Director/DP & Photographer, I am fortunate to be based in the vibrant city of New York, where I have developed a keen sense of empathy and a deep appreciation for the human condition. My upbringing in various parts of the United States, including Upstate New York, the San Francisco Bay Area, Atlanta, Dallas, and now New York City, has instilled in me a profound curiosity about the diverse life experiences that exist around the world. I firmly believe that it is crucial to share these stories, often overlooked or underrepresented, to foster a greater understanding and connection among individuals.
As a creative professional, I am driven by a passion for elevating stories through visual storytelling. Whether it be an individual's remarkable life journey, a brand's mission, or a group's purpose, I thrive on the challenge of transforming these expressions into captivating visuals. As a director and cinematographer, my ultimate goal is to cinematically represent an individual's emotional experience, bringing their story to life in a way that resonates with audiences.
Throughout my career, I have had the privilege of directing two feature documentaries, numerous award-winning short films, music videos, and commercials. This extensive experience has culminated in the establishment of my own boutique production company, Essence Picture Company, where I am dedicated to creating visually stunning and emotionally impactful content that inspires and uplifts.
