Crystal Lujan is a multifaceted professional with a diverse range of expertise in the entertainment industry. Born and raised in Hollywood, she developed a profound fascination with films and actors from a young age. This early interest in the world of cinema and music ultimately led her to pursue a career that began as the in-house casting director for the renowned Limelight Productions. During her time at Limelight, she honed her skills by casting music videos for an impressive array of high-profile rock stars, including Madonna, Prince, David Bowie, Janet Jackson, U2, Sting, and Marilyn Manson.
In addition to her work in music videos, Crystal was in high demand as a casting director for progressive and high-end commercials and campaigns. Her clients included a wide range of prominent brands, such as The Gap, Coca-Cola, Nike, L'Oreal, Max Factor, Estee Lauder, Lincoln-Mercury, Macy's, ESPN-X Games, and Universal Studios, among many others. Throughout her career, she has had the opportunity to work with some of the most talented and renowned directors in the industry, including Tony Kaye, Julien Temple, Francis Lawrence, John Dahl, Jake Scott, Barry Sonnenfeld, Albert Watson, Sam Bayer, Matthew Rolston, Michael Bay, Alek Keshishian, and David Fincher.
In 2001, Crystal married and relocated to London, where she began a new chapter in her life as a mother of two boys. The family eventually moved to Kauai, Hawaii, before returning to Los Angeles in 2006. Upon her return, Crystal refocused her energy on her casting career, primarily working on indie films for both established and emerging filmmakers. She has also continued to cast international projects for clients in Russia, England, France, Italy, Sweden, Finland, Japan, and India.
In 2019, after years of dedicating herself to the art of casting, Crystal decided to pursue her true passion and began acting.
