Crystal's academic journey began with her enrollment at the prestigious Royal Conservatoire of Scotland, where she earned her degree in 2014. During her time at RCS, she had the opportunity to participate in a variety of productions, showcasing her talents in a range of roles. These credits included performances in The Beaux Strategem, Macbeth, The Cherry Orchard, and They Shoot Horses, Don't They?
Crystal's background is steeped in cultural diversity, having grown up in a West Indian immigrant family in Essex County, New Jersey. This unique upbringing likely had a profound impact on her artistic perspective and worldview. Prior to her studies at RCS, Crystal was a student at Newark Arts High School, where she honed her skills and laid the groundwork for her future success in the performing arts.
