Cromwell Cheung, a multifaceted individual, was born in the vibrant city of Hong Kong, where his early life was marked by a passion for the traditional art of Cantonese Opera. At a young age, he began studying this revered form of entertainment, and his remarkable talent soon led him to become a child star sensation in Hong Kong. His impressive performances on various television shows, showcasing his perfect pitch during the singing parts of Cantonese Opera, captivated audiences and earned him widespread recognition.
However, as he entered his teenage years and puberty took its toll, his voice underwent significant changes, ultimately leading him to discontinue his career as a Cantonese Opera performer. Undeterred, Cheung redirected his focus towards the world of business, where he went on to achieve great success as the head of Nokia Asia for an impressive 20-year period.
Now retired, Cheung devotes his time to traveling and supporting the arts, while also exploring his creative side as an actor and executive producer. His film career began with the movie This is Sanlitun (2013),marking the start of a new chapter in his life.
