Biography

Biography of a multifaceted individual:

Born in California, this creative force began their journey by studying at Pacific University in Forest Grove, Oregon, and later traveling throughout Mexico, where they attended the Universidad De Queretaro. At the tender age of 20, they produced a 45-minute documentary about Mexico, showcasing their early talent.

Their academic pursuits continued as they were accepted into the UCLA Motion Picture/Television Department, graduating in 1975. This marked the beginning of their illustrious career in the entertainment industry.

As an actor, they have performed in a wide range of classical and repertory theater productions across the United States, from California to New York to Boston, from 1975 to 1982. Their impressive repertoire includes iconic roles such as Private Meek in G.B. Shaw's "Too True To Be Good," earning them the Old Globe Theatre Atlas Award in 1977-78.

Their extensive acting credits also include The Vagabond in "The Tavern," Rosencrantz in "Hamlet" and "Rosencrantz & Guildenstern Are Dead" (Boston Shakespeare Company),leading roles in "The Firebugs," "Madame De," "The Good Doctor," and "Charley's Aunt."

Beyond their acting accomplishments, this individual is also a prolific playwright and screenwriter, having authored numerous plays and screenplays, including "The Turn Of The Century" (collaborating with Bette Davis),"Strangled Nocturne," "Skidoo Ruins," "Life Without Father," and "Patterns Woven In A Park."

Their television, video, and film credits are equally impressive, featuring roles in "Flesteron In Amazonia," "Teamwork," and "Commercial Break." They have also been a member of the Robey Theatre Company, appearing in numerous staged readings and dual roles in the production "For The Love Of Freedom" in 2004.

As a member of Actors Studio West from 2000-05, they honed their skills as a playwright and actor. Their passion for filmmaking began at the tender age of 12, when they started directing 8mm films. Their first digital video feature, "The Calistra Zipper Story," won the Purple Heart Award at the first annual Zero Film Festival in Los Angeles in December 2008.

This individual has had the privilege of working with Hollywood pioneer Hal Roach, assisting him with writing his "come back comedy" in 1988. They have also authored the book "100 Years of Brodies With Hal Roach" in 2014, revised in 2018.

In addition to their extensive filmography, they have had a recurring role on the TV series "Mad Men" as an Office Employee from 2010-14. As a producer, director, and editor, they have created numerous films and videos, including "Skidoo Ruins" (2020) and "Whatever Happened To Calistra Zipper?" (2022),both of which have won film festival awards and nominations from around the world.
