Notably, Courtney wrote, directed, and produced Little Pink House, an award-winning feature film that tells the poignant story of Susette Kelo's fight to save her home and neighborhood. The film boasts an all-star cast, including Catherine Keener and Jeanne Tripplehorn, and has garnered widespread critical acclaim, with praise from The Hollywood Reporter, Deadline Hollywood, and more.
In addition to her work on Little Pink House, Courtney's feature film production credits include The Collector, American Pie Presents the Naked Mile, and Pulse, as well as the documentary Can We Take a Joke?, which features an impressive roster of comedians.
Courtney's television credits include serving as a producer on America in Primetime, a four-hour PBS documentary series that explores the creative process behind primetime's most iconic and groundbreaking shows. The series features interviews with a veritable who's who of television legends, including Ron Howard, James L. Brooks, and Norman Lear.
Before co-founding Korchula Productions, Courtney spent five years in New York City directing Off-Broadway plays, specializing in contemporary works featuring established actors. Her credits include the New York revival of Austin Pendleton's Uncle Bob, which starred George Morfogen and Joseph Gordon-Levitt.
Courtney holds a bachelor's degree in psychology from the University of Colorado at Denver and a master's degree in theatre directing from the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art and King's College London.
