Cory Assink, a renowned American actor, has built a successful career in film and television, with a notable track record of appearing in numerous commercials, including multiple Super Bowl advertisements, and working with some of Hollywood's most acclaimed directors.
Born Cory Scott Assink on September 25, 1977, in Grand Rapids, Michigan, USA, he is the second of four siblings. His mother, Donna (Beukema),a retired nurse, and his father, Dale Assink, a pastor, are both of Dutch descent.
Assink's early interest in performing led him to train and perform professionally at Kandid Kids in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, alongside a talented group of young actors, including several future Mickey Mouse Club members. He continued to hone his craft in theatre and competitive speech tournaments during his high school years at Plano Senior High School in Plano, Texas.
After a stint studying language and culture in Costa Rica, Assink graduated from The University of Texas at Austin in 2001.
Despite not being featured in People Magazine's Sexiest Men Alive issue of 2013, Assink has humorously requested a recount, attributing his lack of inclusion to his inability to grow substantial facial hair. Cory, his wife, and their two daughters currently reside in Los Angeles.
