Corey MacIntosh is a renowned Canadian actor and producer, currently residing in Los Angeles, California. Born in Truro, Nova Scotia, he began his journey in the world of theatre at the tender age of 11, when he enrolled in the NOSCO Academy of Theatre Arts. For the next decade, he would spend his summers studying at the esteemed institution, honing his craft and laying the foundation for his future success.
As he grew older, Corey's talents took him to Halifax, where he worked on a variety of projects, including films, CBC Radio broadcasts, and theatre productions. In 2001, he made the bold decision to relocate to Sedona, Arizona, where he would spend the next four years performing in shows at the Canyon Moon Theater and working on films through the Zaki Gordon Institute for Independent Filmmaking.
In 2005, Corey's dedication to his craft earned him a partial scholarship to attend The American Academy of Dramatic Arts in Hollywood. For the next two years, he immersed himself in the world of acting, studying alongside some of the industry's finest and performing as an elite member of the 3rd year Company.
Upon graduating, Corey founded The Vesper Theatre Company, a production company that he would go on to run and perform in for the next four years. During this time, he mounted productions of original works and revisited classic texts in unique performance spaces throughout the greater Los Angeles area.
In 2012, Corey decided to put his theatre company on hold in order to focus on his training and work within the film and television market. With his quick wit and knack for timing, he is easily at home in comedic roles, but it is within the dramatic realm that he is most comfortable, bringing his innate empathy and natural intensity to hero and antagonist alike.
