Corey Allen Kotler, a native New Yorker, is a multifaceted actor and comedian who has made a name for himself in the entertainment industry. Born and raised in Bayside, Queens, New York, Kotler's journey in comedy began during his freshman year at Nassau Community College.
As a stand-up comedian, Kotler made his television debut on an episode of the Howard Stern Show on WWOR TV. He then relocated to Chicago to hone his improvisational skills at the legendary Second City, where he studied alongside a young and unknown Steve Carell.
Kotler's talents soon landed him a role as an original member of the hit play, Tony & Tina's Wedding. After a year with the company, he returned to New York to finish his education, earning a Bachelor of Science in Broadcasting from the CW Post Campus of Long Island University.
In 1991, Kotler made his television debut in an unorthodox way, bamboozling Howard Stern into believing he was an actual authentic Hasidic Rabbi, Rabbi Chaim Goldwasser.
Since relocating to Los Angeles, Kotler's television highlights have included appearances on Heroes, Ugly Betty, ER, Nip/Tuck, Brooklyn Nine-Nine, Rizzoli and Isles, Jimmy Kimmel Live!, MTV Movie Awards, Teen Choice Awards, and various sketches on The Tonight Show.
In addition to his television work, Kotler has also appeared in over 22 national TV commercials and numerous independent films.
