Biography

Cora, a multifaceted individual with a plethora of talents, embarked on her illustrious career at the tender age of 17 when her band, Darlingheart, was signed to Phonogram, a prestigious record label. This monumental achievement enabled the band to tour alongside renowned acts such as Radiohead and Blur, exposing Cora to a vast audience and laying the foundation for her future endeavors.

As her musical career progressed, Cora's thirst for knowledge and artistic expression led her to pursue higher education at the Royal Scottish Academy of Music and Drama (RSAMD). Upon completing her studies, she transitioned into the world of professional theatre, film, and television, where she spent the next decade honing her craft and accumulating a wealth of experience.

In 2006, Cora's exceptional talent and dedication were recognized when she won the coveted Arches Award for Young Directors. This prestigious honor not only validated her hard work but also provided her with the platform to share her expertise with others. Cora's subsequent appointment as Drama Outreach Director for the Scottish company ANKUR marked the beginning of a new chapter in her career, one that would allow her to make a lasting impact on the lives of others through the power of drama and performance.
