Biography

Next person biography:

Connor Baxter Skific was born in Van Nuys, California, to Darko Skific, a car salesman, and Karen Baxter, who happened to be buying a car at the time. His mother has Norwegian and Scottish ancestry, while his father, an immigrant from Croatia, moved to America at the age of 24. Connor grew up in the small town of Malibu, where he was accustomed to seeing celebrities on a regular basis, which taught him that they are ordinary people just like everyone else. He also had the privilege of traveling to Croatia every summer to visit his extensive family there.

As a young adult, Connor considered various professions, including architect, archaeologist, physicist, computer scientist, marine, boxer, warrior, firefighter, writer, and many others. It wasn't until he turned 24 that he realized that acting was the only profession that would allow him to pursue all of these interests.

Connor found solace in fantasy through fiction novels, films, and video games as a teenager. He idolized the character Maximus from the film Gladiator and Richard Rahl from the novel The Sword of Truth series by Terry Goodkind, who embody courage, kind-heartedness, and self-sacrifice. Connor strives to emulate these characters.

Growing up, Connor lacked confidence, but he discovered powerlifting at the age of 22, which helped him develop self-belief. Powerlifting taught him that small, consistent gains over time can lead to extraordinary results. He started with a deadlift of 95lbs and increased it to 502lbs over three years. This experience gave him a measuring stick for everything he did in life, and he realized that nobody is born talented. With dedication and hard work, anyone can achieve greatness.
