Colette Freedman is an internationally renowned playwright with an impressive portfolio of over 25 produced plays to her credit. She was recognized as "One of 50 to Watch" by The Dramatist's Guild, a testament to her exceptional talent and dedication to her craft.
One of her most notable plays is Sister Cities, which premiered at the Edinburgh Fringe and received widespread critical acclaim, earning five-star reviews. The play has been produced numerous times around the world, including in Paris, Rome, and Australia, and has been adapted into a film starring a talented ensemble cast, including Jacki Weaver, Alfred Molina, and Jess Weixler.
In addition to her work in theater, Colette has also ventured into film, co-writing the screenplay for And Then There Was Eve, which won the Los Angeles Film Festival in 2017. She has also co-produced the film Quality Problems, which received several awards, including best film and best ensemble.
