Cody Lee Saintgnue is a multifaceted individual, boasting a 15-year career in the entertainment industry. Born in Dayton, Ohio, he was placed in foster care at the age of nine and adopted at 12. To cope with his new reality, Cody discovered his passion for acting and theater, which became an outlet for self-expression.
As he grew older, Cody began modeling in the Ohio area, eventually traveling to Texas to participate in the Mike Beaty Model and Talent Expo. He emerged victorious, landing the cover of the competition showcase magazine. At 14, Cody and his adopted mother relocated to Los Angeles to pursue a career in film and television acting.
Cody's early roles included appearances on "Southland," "America's Most Wanted: America Fights Back," "House M.D.," and "Criminal Minds." He then made his film debut in "All Cheerleaders Die" and went on to star in "Preservation." However, his most notable work includes his portrayal of "Brett Talbot" on the hit MTV series "Teen Wolf."
Following his success on "Teen Wolf," Cody became a series regular on Amazon's Emmy-winning series "The Bay," playing the role of "Adam Kenway." In 2020, he ventured into producing, serving as a co-executive producer on the film "The Tax Collector" and an executive producer on the Oscar-nominated film "The Trials of Chicago Seven."
When the COVID-19 pandemic halted TV and film productions, Cody turned his attention to music, co-writing a double platinum song titled "Daydream" for K-pop group Monsta-X. He also released his debut single "Novocaine Joyride" and performed at Pay-Per-View Live at Tampa Stadium, earning a cover story in the magazine "Man About Town."
Throughout his career, Cody has remained dedicated to giving back to the foster care system. He has served as an ambassador for the Dave Thomas Foundation for Adoption, a board member of YouGotta Believe, and a supporter of Single Mothers Outreach. Cody's life story serves as a testament to the transformative power of mentorship, foster care, and adoption, and he hopes to inspire others to believe in their own potential.
