Born and raised in the sun-kissed city of San Diego, California, Clifton Dunn's artistic journey began to unfold in his high school days, when he was captivated by the infectious laughter of his uncle in the audience, sparking an irrepressible passion within him.
As he continued to nurture his creative spirit, Clifton enrolled in Boston University, where he earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Acting, subsequently complementing his education with a stint at the prestigious London Academy of Music and Dramatic Arts (LAMDA).
Following his college graduation, Clifton quickly established himself as a talented performer, securing roles in notable productions such as Macbeth and Richard II. As his focus gradually shifted towards the screen, he began to amass an impressive array of on-screen credits, including appearances on CBS's Ways and Means, FOX's Almost Family, Hulu's Difficult People, TBS's The Detour, and feature films like Terrifier on Netflix and The Paper Store on Amazon.
