Cliff Guest is a multifaceted individual with a passion for film, having entered a MTV music video contest for Madonna in October 1986, which he won. His winning entry for the song "True Blue" showcased his exceptional skills in producing, directing, and editing. The video was aired in heavy rotation on MTV and reached number one, with his version still widely regarded as the superior one.
As a result of his success, Cliff was offered a job at Geffen Records as the in-house video director, responsible for overseeing the development, producing, and directing of music videos for renowned artists such as Cher, Guns N' Roses, Peter Gabriel, Tim Scott, Wang Chung, Little America, Aerosmith, and more.
In addition to his work in the music industry, Cliff is also an award-winning commercial director and cameraman for Planet Films, having won several Addy awards. His clients include major brands such as Proctor & Gamble (Poppums/Pringles),ABC Sports (Rollerblade),The Florida Lottery, Powerade, the Florida Marlins Campaign, and The United Way.
Furthermore, Cliff has ventured into feature film production, serving as director and producer for the films "The Disturbance" and "Runnin' With The Devil". "The Disturbance" was sold to Double Helix for foreign distribution and Vid America for domestic distribution.
Cliff holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from Florida International University and is well-versed in various digital tools, including Final Cut Pro, Photoshop, and Digital Performer.
