Clenét's diverse cultural background, stemming from his mother's Italian and Irish heritage and his father's African American roots, grants him a distinctive perspective on the world. As a dual Italian citizen with extensive travel experience, he has developed a unique understanding of how artistic expression can be used to foster open dialogue and promote meaningful philosophical discussions.
Influenced by traditional art throughout his life, Clenét's passion for filmmaking was ignited at a young age. His academic pursuits included an Art Scholarship at Wheaton College (MA) and studies in filmmaking with an NYU Film documentarian, as well as painting at Lorenzo de' Medici School (Florence, Italy),all of which have contributed to his storytelling foundation.
Professionally, Clenét has spent fifteen years in the film industry, serving as an Assistant Director (AD) and joining the Directors Guild of America (DGA) in 2008. He has had the privilege of working with esteemed talent such as John Malkovich, Bruce Willis, Aubrey Plaza, Elizabeth Olsen, Dakota Fanning, Elijah Wood, Charles Sheen, and Jessica Alba, to name a few.
